Hey, I'm Jemma Irvine, Your Metabolic Health Coach! ​

I’m a Certified Metabolic Health Coach specialising in insulin resistance and women’s health after 40. I help women increase energy, lose stubborn weight, build confidence, and gain the knowledge to expertly manage and optimise their own health—for life.

Over 10 years ago, I hit a turning point. In my late 30s, I struggled with weight gain, brain fog, and energy crashes that left me feeling really tired every afternoon. By making key changes to my nutrition, lifestyle, and metabolic health, I lost 8kg, regained my energy, and transformed the way I feel in midlife. Now at 54, I feel stronger, more vibrant, and in control of my health – and I want the same for you.

Through my programs, I help women break free from exhaustion, stubborn weight, bloating, and brain fog—all of which become more common with the hormonal changes of perimenopause and menopause. My approach isn’t about quick fixes; it’s about understanding your body, balancing metabolic hormones, and making sustainable changes that actually work. I would describe my approach as Low Insulin.

I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic in March 2022. Severely over weight and not in great health. Jemma has been coaching me, giving me guidance on healthy eating, recommended books, recipes and discussing strategies that have helped me plan ahead to manage potential challenges. Not only that, but every week Jemma has met with me online and checked in to see how I'm doing. This was over three months ago. I am now 4 stone lighter, feeling fitter and eating a much better diet.
